Objective: Activate Chevron's sponsorship of the Giants and use Giant's "Legends" to drive business at area gas stations.
Offer: With purchase of a minimum of 8 gallons of gas, consumers could also purchase a baseball featuring a Giants' hall of fame player for $3.99.
Support: Local television, radio, in-stadium and on-pump POP.
Success: Despite record gas prices that resulted in fewer transactions across the country, Northern California gas stations actually saw an increase in consumers during this time frame. |
